Kisekka Samson a member of Kinoonya transformation group Masanafu is a last born of four. He studied up to senior four and was unable to continue with higher education due to finances. He joined SRAY Project in 2019 when he was in senior four vacation and was planning to go for tailoring course. He was convinced by his brother who is one of the peer educators.

“I was trained in tailoring by SRAY in 2020 and I was retained by my trained to continue learning but also start earning money”. I later got a job where I was making curtains. I am so happy that the project called me and gave me a machine which has now helped me to employ myself. Since I started using the machine, I have been earning enough money to get my basic needs. I have not felt the Covid-19 economic shock so much because at least I have heard money in my pocket every day. I have now loved my work more. I’m grateful to the organisation for the opportunity given to me and I hope this will lead me to greater heights”. Says Kisekka.
